Poor Spa Treatment and Environment

This spa and the whole crew needs to be re-evaluated given that they are based at the Protea Hotel in Umhlanga. It was not worth the value of the treatment at all and totally unprofessional

The rooms don’t have a fresh smell, the towels felt damp and were in a bad condition that I had to ask to have them changed. The the****** doing the massage was totally unprofessional, felt like someone was just rubbing my body with oil for the sake of massaging. When it got to the head massage, she started well and slowly started fading with the massage that at 1 point I got up and looked at her as her hand was just placed on my head and it looked like she was “fading away”

As for the Pedi, more like a foot wash. The set up was so uncomfortable for both the client and the the****** in terms of the layout and seating. As per the treatment, cuticle work was included which never happened. The the****** did not even know how to apply nail polish the correct way, leave alone the nail polish was thick and the base coat was practically finished that she left my toes looking like a war zone. I had to ask her to give me the cotton wool and I will redo my nail polish until her colleague came thru and assisted to repaint. Overall, their treatments need lots of polishing to get and be professional. Won’t recommend to anyone. Worst experience I have ever had from a spa visit.
