WHAT A SHAMBALLES!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a disaster! My son enrolled at the Midrand Campus to complete a BSC in Biomedicine. Fees are paid upfront - before classes started in February 2023 No communication from the University. It took him 3 months before he get a student card, but during this period I am called by Tebogo to inform me that he is his Student Adviser and he cannot get hold of him. NO problems, they make contact and according to me no problems exist. No one from Eduvos are in contact me with me - the sponsor - parent of this student and according to me everything is working out. In November 2022 I start communicating with Eduvos to get feedback on what next years fees would be as my brother that has immigrated agreed to assist me with the payment of the fees as he also assisted in paying the 1st years fees. I am being contacted by Nolwazi Chizelele who informed me that she is the new Student Advisor and that the student needs to enrol for summer school in January 2023 - note in the mean time Eduvos cannot confirm exact fees for next year and provided me with a quotation, that might change. My brother pay the fees but pay a little bit extra should their be any additional costs which they cannot provide me with at the moment. Now he has to enrol for summer school which is an additional R17,000.00 for 2 modules. No problem, if he needs to do this it will be arranged, but I query why he must attend summer school and what category this falls under. I am told that he failed the module - which I then query. A meeting is called for me to be informed that this student has only completed 2 modules for the whole year. No additional modules were completed - and the reason that this was only discovered now is that they have investigated his marks because of my query. I am also told in the meeting that because of the Poppi act, they cannot discuss or disclose any information . Explain, even though he is 20 years old, I am the sponsor and responsible for the fees. Now he informed me that he tried to reach out to Tebogo - his first Student Advisor - who never came back to him. He complains about mental issues, which according to the Eduvos website this University takes very serious. No lecturer during block 1 that he attended showed any interest in him and never engaged in any contact with him. Again, according to the website, Eduvos take the well being of students very seriously. HOW ON EARTH DID EDUVOS NOT NOTICE THAT THIS STUDENT NEVER ATTENDED CLASSES!!!! COMPLETED EXAMS!!! HANDED IN ANY ASSIGNMENTS!!!! He was blocked from the Student Portal and never received any mails - when this was raised during the meeting on the 7th December 2022 with the following people (with Nolwazi Chizelele and Claris Mhike) we were told that the portal will only be blocked for financial reasons - What!!!! his fees were paid in full before block 1 started!!!!!! How does this university control students and ensure that whatever they are enrolled for that the students does indeed complete their studies. AFTER 10 MONTHS!!!! I AM INFORMED THAT MY SON ONLY COMPLETED 2 MODULES!!!!! If they cannot get in contact with him, why was I never contacted.

Now, I read on hellopeter that that the modules that my son failed was also failed by other students - Read Hello Peter post on the 7th August 2022 - Questionable Exam Results every Block .

After getting legal advise, I want to expose this University and will be in contact with the Department of Higher Education - Carte Blance and The Devi Show

Now, I am battling to get the refund of the fees paid for next year, because the funds were paid by the 3rd party!!!!!! What the x..........

If I can please warn people, don't send your kids to this university. they take your money, don't care about the whereabout of the students at all, neither there wellbeing. All they want is your money.
