MyLMS System Failure Creates Unnecessary Stress

Students are currently busy with assessments. Somewhere along the line something has gone wrong with the MyLMS system and firstly students battled through the first exams, some finished, some did not, only to be told that the exams had to be rescheduled even if they had completed them.

Students were instructed to do paper based assessments unless they were absolutely unable to get to an exam center, they could then still use the MyLMS system.

My son's written assessment today was a dog show, one of the formula sheets was missing and only provided 45 minutes before the end of the exam. The few students on the MyLMS system still had issues even though there were vastly reduced users on the system.

At the end of last year I asked for a statement of account so that I settle it. I received no response, so I paid what I believed was owing. Later on I became aware of a supplementary exam that needed to be paid for and they were demanding payment threatening to block registration. This turned out to be "the incorrect mail template" that had been sent out.

Now these issues with MyLMS. There are obvious problems with their systems.

If my son was not due to finish his degree at the end of this year I would certainly consider moving him elsewhere. If I was investigating an institution for next year, I certainly wouldn't consider Eduvos.
