Graduated in 2022 , final record not stamped and being told to wait for verification

I graduated back in 2022 for my BSc IT and worked in a different field. Beginning of this month, I got a job opportunity in my field and they asked for my final results. It was when I realised that my final results weren’t stamped and they were indicating that I’m “registered “ instead of “completed” . Because I live a bit far, I tried calling and I was taken from pillar to post with my request and when I finally got an email to reach out to, on the 12th of January , I was told to wait for 14-21 days they need to verify. To be honest, I’m not sure what is being verified because I graduated in less than 5 years ago, and my records were supposed to be found. I just needed the status of my final academic record to be changed and stamped. I don’t think that needs verification. The recruiter told me that the space will be occupied if I fail to provide these by Monday the 26th. I’m so disappointed at how a simple thing cannot be attended to and one could loose an opportunity because of such.
