Eduvos Review – Mismanagement, False Promises, and Financial Headaches

My experience with Eduvos was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I initially app**** for a BSc in Computer Science at the Vanderbijlpark campus and was assured by a student advisor that they would handle all the paperwork and that I could study part-time while working to cover my fees. This was the only reason I chose Eduvos over other institutions.

I signed the contract for my BSc in Computer Science, but on the first day of induction, I discovered they had enrolled me in the Higher Certificate for Software Engineering instead—something I never app**** for. When I pointed this out, I was met with resistance and arguments, but after much back and forth, they promised to move me to the BSc program.

After months of battling with them, they failed to transfer me, always citing one excuse or another. Then, after all their previous assurances, they suddenly told me they don’t offer the part-time option anymore—even though other campuses still do! As if that wasn’t bad enough, they later informed me that I couldn’t even study full-time because, according to them, my results weren’t good enough—even though I originally app**** with 6 distinctions, and they had no issue accepting me before.

The finance department at Eduvos is another disaster. I paid the exact fees stated in my contract, only for them to double the amount and claim I hadn’t paid. The contract clearly outlined the monthly fee, which I had paid in full for the months I was there. Only after threatening legal action through my company’s lawyers did they back off slightly, but even leaving the institution was a struggle.

I app**** to terminate my agreement, and for 3–4 weeks, they kept pushing me around, refusing to process my request and even demanding additional fees to cancel. It seems like the only way to get anything done at Eduvos is through legal threats.

In the end, I had enough of their mismanagement and false promises and moved to WITS. I would strongly advise against choosing Eduvos, especially if you are considering part-time or online study. They do not honor their commitments, their management is disorganized, and their finance team is ***********.
