Eduvos Certificates are printed all the same for all qualifications " Bachelor's Of Arts" instead of including the specialised qualification
As a paying client of Eduvos, I'm very unhappy with the work integrated learning structure they have. Students are expected to find their own internships without any assistance from the institution. I personally assisted my daughter with an internship and even assisted the institution with connecting them to someone I know who can take in interns, which I didn't mind sharing my connections, but I'm extremely unhappy with the institution. I wouldn't recommend anyone studying through Eduvos. On top of that, it only came to mine and my daughter's attention that certificates are not printed with the complete qualification. Please see reply below from the academic admin manager from Eduvos. This reply is unacceptable, because my daughter did not study a Bachelor of Arts qualification, she studied Law in Politics which should stated that on her certificate,"Bachelor of Arts in Law and Politics" which it doesn't. They print all Psychology, Law, Human Resources certificates the same only stating Bachelor's of Arts. This is unacceptable by all academic levels.
I have called the Eduvos Headquarters in Gauteng and as usual, they always unavailable to assist.

The certificate will only state the qualification as a Bachelor of Arts, as it is registered as such. The specialization streams made available for students to select from by the institution (e.g. Law, Media Studies, Psychology) are reflected on the students' academic transcripts in terms of their modules, NQF levels, credit weightings and results. The specialization streams are not registered as separate qualifications.

While students are encouraged to take initiative in securing WIL placements, our Employability Centre is available to assist through various support tools and networks.
Concerning certificate naming conventions, Eduvos follows national regulatory guidelines. The qualification title appears on the certificate, while further detail is reflected on the academic transcript.

If this was communicated to me as a parent before enrolling my child into your institution, I would have enrolled her where the certificate clearly indicates her qualification. This is an embarrassment not only to her but the family aswell. I can't have her accept an incomplete certificate. Her graduation won't be anything to get excited about if that's the certificate she's getting, then she might have only studied Bachelor's of Arts. She didn't do a Bachelor's of Arts course, having it on a transcript doesn't make a difference. Are you being cheap with your printing or is there something else you are hiding from parents and students? FYI, my daughter completed her WIL through my personal contact, she doesn't need assistance with it anymore. On another note, her fees are settled in full & I've had so many challenges with Eduvos, I will always give bad word of mouth based on my personal experience.
