2 years of wasted education, time and money.

I am really disappointed with what has been happening. My kids have put a lot of work in to get a good education. I have payed for the promises that your company has given. I am a widow, with not a lot of money and support but extremely serious about trying my best to give my kids a good education. I have paid on time every month for around 2 years. Ive done everything you guys have requested we do. I have spent money i dont have on extra equipment because you told me the problems we were having is with us. Your company has given every single excuse and more of how its not your fault, and not 1 of those excuses made any sense. Every time you made a new excuse, for example: "you probably dont have a stable internet connection", then i would upgrade our stuff to try fix the problem with money i dont have. For 2 years i have been trying every single thing i can think of and everything you guys have told me to fix these issues. One of the biggest issues is that sometimes, atleast once a week, my son or daughter get kicked out of their work after working for an hour or more and it deletes all their progress and kicks then out. Then they must do the lesson all over again until it saves their work done. I was given a whole list of excuses and things i should do to avoid it. I did everything and still have the same issue. I was even told, "Mobymax doesnt just kick you out, and you are the only person who has every complained about this." Then im told, if only you can get video evidence of these issues happening. You should sit and record all their lessons until hopefully oneday you manage to get it on video. So i started trying to remember to record my kids screen to catch it happening on video. After months of trying i finually get it on video, and i get another excuse of it being our fault. You can see clearly in the video how we are kicked out. The excuse made no sence at all with how the program works. Time and time again, i have to start over again with a new person and go through all the steps all over again because you guys keep giving me different people to answer my watsapps and these other people dont know whats been happening so they start me all the way at the beginning again and i have to redo the whole process with them and explain everything from scratch to each one. This is so ridiculous its almost funny. You have waisted so much of my time already. You have set my kids back on their progress over and over again. Between myself and my kids, i dont know who feels more discouraged and defeated by all of this. I truly feel like i have wasted 2 years with you guys, 2 years of education is a lot. 2 years of fees is a lot. And now you accidentally reset his maths too, opps sorry for the inconvenience. We accidentally reset all his maths progress while we were trying to find the other problem. No, this is ridiculous.

Good day, Amanda.

Please allow me to address the main issues in your review and clarify the situation in order to forge a better understanding.

1. You requested us to reset several subjects for your student, which we happily did for you. When you made it clear that you did not want your student's Math to be reset, we offered to place him on a Gr.7 level, since he was almost completely finished with his Gr.6 math work. You refused this, and requested him to redo his Math placement test instead. When he redid his placement test, he did not score high enough to place him back to where he was, but we can still manually place him on a Gr.7 level for Math. All you need to do is let us know.

2. The most common reason for lessons to restart from the beginning is an unstable internet connection. The reason for this is because the program needs the internet in order to save progress and load the next lesson. If it can't do that, it reverts to the beginning of the lesson.

3. Another reason a lesson or test might appear again is if a student scored less than 80%. We reassign these lessons and tests to give students another chance at mastering them.

4. It is common practice for help centres and call centres to have multiple employees manning the phones and monitoring WhatsApps, since this is the most fair and efficient way to ensure that everyone gets the help they need as quickly as possible.

We did draft an error report detailing your problems, and sent it directly to the Mobymax technical team. They reviewed your descriptions and videos, and reiterated that the reason your student repeated several lessons was because he scored less than 80%, and that it was not caused by a technical error. They also stated that if a lesson jumps back to the beginning, it is almost certainly because of an unstable internet connection.

We do understand your concerns, and we do understand that it must be frustrating to deal with these issues, but please understand that we have no direct control over your internet connection or the scores your students achieve.

you have just proven how little effort you guys put into actually checking your facts and checking the history of ongoing issues. let me clarify again... If you like, i have all the chats with screenshots.

1. no, the request did not come from me. it was suggested by Jay to try resolve the ongoing issue. She suggested to reset Science and Social Studies one grade up to see if that helps with the problem. Im not sure how it would help, but im willing to try anything at this point. I never once requested to have maths reset. Infact Jay sent me the following message:

"I totally understand it could also be that but we can't really be sure.
I have accidently reset and place his math on a grade level 8. I was certain I clicked on science before changing the grade level.
I honestly don't know how that happen.
I have also noticed that he was on a grade level 6.3 in (term 1) 2026. However he is doing well in his math as well his bee scoring 80% and above.
Please let me know if I should keep him on a grade level 8 or if I should put him on a 7.
~Jay

yes, i did refuse to just place him on level 7 or level 8 and asked if it was possable to place him back at the lessons he was busy with. Jay initially said no its not possable and again appologised for the inconvenience she caused. I told her i did not want him to be placed on level 8 unless we know for sure that he made it that far. It doesnt make sence to place him at a higher grade and then he might miss some lessons that he never did and struggle with that later. so i requested a placement test so we can get a better idea of where he was at. His placement test showed he was at a level 7. Then Jay told me she realised she might be able to place him back where he was last and asked if i had video footage of the last lesson he did so she can get him back there. luckly i did have footage and she was able to set him almost back to where he was at, he will just have to redo a few lessons.

2. This is the exact reason i got better internet and I created a ping test for both PC's, so we could track the internet connection and see if at any time the internet dropped at all. If you want, you are welcome to go back on my watsapps and see that most of my previous complaints had the ping test results attached, every singly one came back with 100% - meaning the internet connection was connected 100% of the time, zero drops were detected.

3. Yes the lessons are usually reassigned in the assignment page when they score lower than 80%, i am aware of this. But that is not at all what is happening here. If you would go back to my watsapps and check the video footage you will see that the lesson was completed, then at the end of the lesson he was kicked out of Mobimax to the Login page. When he logged back in, the lesson he had just completed was erased completely and it showed that the lesson hadnt been done at all. It will usually show how much time he spent on the lesson, what his score was and then you would find the lesson in the assignment page if he scored lower that 80%. this is not what happened, the lesson showed he did no work on that lesson at all. In the parent portal it also showed he never did that lesson and did not record the time spent on it either. it showed instead that he did nothing.

4. i do understand that completely, but then if a new employee is going to take over from where someone else left off, should they not check first what has already been discussed in previous messages. many times i would send something in and ask them to please sent it to a specific employee so they can continue helping me. If they cant, then they should go back on the messages and check all the facts before trying to send me back to step 1.

like i said, it did not reassign the lesson and my internet connection was 100% stable, i did send you the evidence of that on watsapp multiple times.

Good day, Amanda.

We reset your student's Science and Social Studies after you gave us permission to do so.
We have also manually reassigned your student's Math lessons in order for him to be able to continue exactly where he left off.

The Mobymax technical team has responded with feedback to your problems, which we have already shared with you, but we shall contact them again to let them know that you are not satisfied with their answers and that their technical team needs to reevaluate the error report.
