Request for my deposit

I was previously a tenant at Ecotel (Midrand Branch), I had moved there last year 2014 after my 2nd semester at university. I have been requesting for my deposit from the place and yet they don't want to comply with my request to this very day. This saddens me because a cording to law they are obliged to issue my deposit if no damage has been inflicted upon their property during the duration that I had been accommodated there, and the deposit that is due to me was to be kept in a deposit account and the interest incurred from the money placed in the account is to be awarded to me with my deposit by the end of my stay as a tenant... according to the law. I had gone there for a numerous amount of times this year and yet what they continuously tell me to do is to send them emails, which end up unattended. I get a sense that it is really due to the fAct that I am a student, and they must be undermining me and thinking that I would eventually back off and just give up.
