Extremely unprofessional and misleading experience

I had a very disappointing experience with EBK Auto Dealers.

I saw a vehicle they advertised and contacted them via WhatsApp to arrange a viewing. They called me at around 7pm and specifically told me that I must come the next day to view the car and then decide if I wanted it or not.

The next day, I drove 1.5 hours to their dealership, only to be told on arrival that the vehicle had already been sold the day before, meaning it was already sold at the time they told me to come.

Instead of apologising or taking responsibility, the lady then tried to show me other vehicles. Each time I showed interest in something, I was told, “Sorry, that one is already sold” as well. After that, she tried to pressure me into increasing my budget by R20,000 to R30,000, which I clearly was not comfortable with.

What made the situation worse was the rude attitude and complete lack of remorse. No apology for wasting my time, fuel, or for making me drive all the way on a Sunday for nothing.

This felt misleading and unprofessional. I would not recommend dealing with EBK Auto Dealers unless you are prepared for poor communication and wasted time.
