My worst property purchase experience ever
I’ve bought a number of properties over the last 29 years but the experience with Eazi Real Estate was definitely the worst. It started with the estate agent sending me, a random stranger to go view the property unaccompanied, so the female tenant had to allow a random stranger into her safe space and show me around. Many questions that I needed answers to, I had to contact other estate agents for answers. The agent from Eazi simply didn’t know, and didn’t care enough to help me. It seems that if an agent is earning lower commission % they don’t bother much supporting the sale process? At least I managed to get a much better purchase price than the listing price because within the first 20 seconds of my first message from the agent, I was given info on how much I could lower my offer amount. Poor seller. Thinking they are scoring by going for cheap agents who then cost them money ….
We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We’ve reviewed your concerns with the agent involved and would like to provide some clarity.
From the beginning, the agent engaged with you around your intended offer and provided guidance based on the Seller’s previously declined offers and instructions. When the opportunity arose, she continued discussions with the Seller and ultimately helped secure acceptance, which we hoped reflected her commitment to assisting you.
Access to the property was unfortunately impacted by the tenant’s limited availability. However, when access became possible, the agent offered to facilitate it as quickly as she could. Since you mentioned living next door, you were able to view the property immediately, which helped avoid further delays. You were later shown the storeroom and parking bays, and the agent remained available to support these requests too.
While your second visit was focused on specific elements, the agent remained engaged throughout the process and answered questions to the best of her ability, despite the challenges posed by limited responses from both the Seller and the tenant. She also continued assisting after transfer with follow-ups where she could.
We regret that the process didn’t feel seamless for you, but we do appreciate your feedback. It helps us reflect and improve. We wish you all the best in your new home.
Kind Regards,
The Eazi Real Estate Team
