26 Feb 2024, 12:04Good day Drystan,
We understand that you are feeling frustrated and that it must have been very disappointing moving into your new home to discover aspects that you were unhappy with.
We would like to reassure you that we request that all sellers disclose any defects or concerns related to the property which are then listed on our conditions report. Unfortunately, we can only disclose what the sellers bring to our attention. Please note that Eazi Real Estate and our agents will never withhold any information regarding any defects that we have knowledge of. In the case of your property concerns with an insect infestation, the agent followed up with the seller who informed us that they had no knowledge of any insect infestation on the property.
We are dedicated to providing high-quality service to both our buyers and sellers. Unfortunately, this would be considered "voetstoots," which means that the property was purchased as it stands and, as a result, any issues that are discovered post-occupation need to be managed through the appropriate conveyancing attorneys. We are aware that you have been in contact with the attorneys regarding the matter and that they have responded to your concerns.
Our General Manager will be happy to get in contact with you to learn more about your experience and how we can make amends. Please let us know if you would like her to do so. We hope you enjoy your new home from here on out, and we look forward to working towards ensuring a better experience for you in the future. All the best,
Eazi Real Estate
Best regards,
