Customer Service Disregard
Kindly note that agent Enwill Arendse from Cape Town was assisting us with the purchase of a new property. After viewing the property, we were excited to agree that we are interested. However, while in the process of getting all our papers and everything else in order, this agent avoid any contact with us. We then reached out to the homeowner who told us not to worry as we are her first option. After our documents and everything was in order, the homeowner contacted us to find out why we are not interested anymore, and we were shocked. This Estate Agent had removed us from the potential buyer list and went behind the homeowners back and sought alternative customers. This has now left my family broken. My kids and I were so excited about our new home to be as we would have had bigger space and accommodation for our entire family together, but Enwill Arendse was just not even interested in speaking to us. We are still in contact with the homeowner, however she says that Enwill is not listening to her and just keeps doing his own thing. I feel he is taking advantage of this homeowner as she is an elderly lady. I feel this guy needs to be attended to as he has no regard for the people who is adding to his paycheck..... :(

Unfortunately, the signed documents were not returned within the required period, and in the meantime the seller accepted another offer.
As per standard procedure, all communication regarding offers must go through the appointed agent to ensure transparency and compliance with the seller’s instructions. Direct communication between you and the seller complicated the process and limited our ability to finalise your offer in time.
Our role is to act on the seller’s instructions while ensuring all offers are handled fairly and in line with legal requirements. We regret that this was not the outcome you had hoped for and trust this clarifies the sequence of events.
