Easybet ***** has gone to far!

So I have taken part of their 15% net loss promotion. On Friday I won a R1900 and today I'm told no I have a total net of R1030 now I'm not saying the agent is hard at math but there is clear example of our south African 40% pass rate.... With a R870 difference, and the other money I put in, and mind you R200 a pop... And sometime 3 times a day... I wanted to escalate the issue and the agent point blank refuses to register a CB or provide me with evidence of a request for CB.... So I'm left to believe this company is getting away with ***** and False advertising... Tomorrow I am registering a case of ***** at SAPS and your agents will be held accountable and management and easybet too.

Hi there,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely understand your concern regarding the cashback calculation and the difference you noticed in the amount. We appreciate you taking the time to raise this with us, and we are more than happy to review the details and provide a clear explanation of how the cashback was calculated.

Upon checking your account, the agent correctly advised that your qualifying amount for the August 31 issuance was R1,030. However, this amount represents your net winnings, not your qualifying losses, for the period of August 24 to August 30. As a result, you did not qualify for the cashback issued on August 31.

According to the Terms and Conditions, the 15% Weekly Casino Cashback is based on your total Qualifying Losses, which are calculated as follows:

Qualifying Losses = Weighted Net Losses − Casino Bonus Wallet transfers to Real Wallet

Your Weighted Net Losses are calculated using:

Total Bets − Total Winnings = Weighted Net Losses

For the period of August 24 to August 30, your account reflects:
Total Bets: R3,323.70
Total Winnings: R4,353.70
Weighted Net Losses: R1,030.00

Since there were no transfers from your Casino Bonus Wallet to your Real Wallet, there is no amount to deduct from the calculation.

Please note that the R1,030.00 is reflected as net winnings, rather than losses, because your total winnings were higher than your total bets:
R3,323.70 − R4,353.70 = -R1,030.00

The negative result indicates that you had more winnings than bets during this period. Therefore, there were no qualifying losses for the August 31 cashback issuance.

However, we understand that you were referring to the losses you incurred on Friday. Those transactions fall under the next cashback period, which is August 31 to September 6, with the issuance date being September 7. Upon checking your account, you are qualified for the September 7 cashback issuance, with qualifying net losses of R214.83. Based on the applicable cashback rate, you will receive R10.74, which is 5% of R214.83.

Please expect the bonus to be credited to your account today, September 7, at 12:00 PM, as this is the scheduled issuance time.

We hope this clarifies how your cashback was calculated and why the amount from the previous period did not qualify as cashback. We understand that promotional calculations can sometimes be confusing, especially when different betting and cashback periods are involved, so we appreciate the opportunity to explain this in detail.
