Appalling service from Easy Appliance Repairs

We called Easy Appliance Repairs to have a look at our faulty washing machine. They arrived, pulled R8 in change out of our pump, and told us to replace the entire pump, which we (apparently) did. For this they charged us R2850 - for what we subsequently discovered is a R300 pump. However the washing machine error continued and, after considerable chasing, we managed to get Dave and his team back in to take another look. The machine worked while they were here and stopped working as soon as they left. Unfortunately Easy Appliances has largely ghosted us since then. The second service provider we got in to actually fix the issue, at considerable additional cost, has suggested that Easy Appliances never replaced our pump - or, if they did, installed a battered second-hand pump from 2019 (it has a date on it). This is appalling behaviour on the part of Easy Appliance Repairs, who effectively took our money and did absolutely nothing. Buyer beware.
