Mislead be by deceptive representation

Me and my husband were mislead by deceptive representation while we were on honeymoon in Cape Town , we were walking by the beach and some guy popped up with scratch cards , we both tried them and were told we won a holiday ,we were then taken to offices and a guy showed beautiful holiday giving us a presentation of how we could go there at very low costs , we were told about an amount of R750 per month and they even made us pay money to join , but it was all deceit , we joined and we regret ever following the guy for a supposedly free holiday , now they saying I owe a large amount of money that I can not afford , I tried canceling with them on 30 th of May 2017 and also in February this year 2018 , but getting cancellation from the easy holidays guys is a mission and a half , we fell to the trap of joining in December 2016 , and it seems this is a nightmare . Please help
