***** Loan ********

Good day,

I would like some assistance and would like to know if you could please assist me In this matter ; as soon as possible and also to make it known to all people as this could be happening to more people.

I've recently gone through a very difficult stage and needed some financing assistance, I was therfore introduced or basically I've been seeing this very attractive ad on Facebook about this specific company assisting people with loans at a low interest rate.

I contacted the company via the whatsapp platform and was sent an email with the application forms which I've completed and returned back to the company. However I was then required to pay a once off insurance fee of R1498.36 as this secures my loan in cases of none payments or retrenchment, unforseen circumstances whatsoever. At first I was a bit sceptic but because I was really in need I then thought to myself oh well, let's give it a GO and because this person or company promised me they legit and even sent there NCR number and legal documentations...

I managed to get the insurance fee paid "WITH THE HELP OF A FRIEND" after payments I awaited there responses(keep in mind, I needed to make a instant payment or should I say I was requested to make an instant payment and then send the proof of payment) After a while I was told that my loan will be paid out and a PDF attachment was SENT via whatsapp with the FNB proof of transfer, saying that the loan was paid of course! And I was so happy to see this proof of transfer which also seemed very legit. I didn't stress or panic as yet.... The next day when I checked my account to see if the funds reflected as I was told it will reflect in the next few hours and because I'm banking with nedbank I gave it sometime... The next morning I checked and there was absolutely nothing reflecting, upon approaching the gentleman called Steve @(Easy loans) he told me that the funds was put on hold now and he was informed that the bank placed a STOP on the funds and that I now needed to pay another R999.11(which is apparently refundable) and this is for a certificate of release and this will allow the bank to release my loan amount immediately.

Wow, I was really in so much need and went as far as to loan a R1000 from a good friend which placed myself in more DEBT, to get this loan which I thought will be great and promised to repay this to the respective people that helped me with the amounts for this loan... After paying the R999.11 the consultant went silent and started ignoring my messages until today, I thought this person will block me on whatsapp but to be honest he or she didn't block me but still reads my messages.

I have all the proof on my phone, whatsapp messages as well as PDF attachments

I then approached my friend to add this number and message this company and act as if he's in need of a loan just to see the responses and surprisgly the person rep**** promptly to his message on whatsapp and requested him to also pay a once off fee to secure he's loan (R1498.36) eventually when my friend became fed up; he dropped the bomb and confronted the person about me applying an being ignored to date, the person became rude and quite cheeky!

I know this is probably a lame story or reading material but blaming myself on my stupidy and therefor I don't want anyone to go through this path.

Unfortunately, I know as a human being I've made a huge, stupid mistake but I would like this to go viral for more people to be aware and to not fall in this trap as we facing the pandemic, we all struggling and yet we have ******** ******** our people. Because we're so vulnerable and has commitment especially with debt and low incomes this could attract more and more people (like with myself)

Please help me as to what I can do moving forward.

I hope and trust you can assist me.

Kind regards,
