Cars are being tampered with for extra fees

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

I took my car for a service last year and it came back with issues I had never experienced before. When I raised this, I was told I would have to pay extra for them to fix it. I refused, as I should not be liable for faults that occurred while the car was in their care, and I ended up having to fix it myself at my own cost.

Unfortunately, I experienced the exact same problem again. I took my car for a service last week, and once again it came back with new issues. I returned it on Saturday and by Monday I had not received any feedback, so I called them myself. I was given the same response as last year – that I must pay to have it fixed.

When I asked why my car was in good condition when I brought it in and is now faulty after leaving their workshop, no one could give me an answer. The only response was, “Ma’am, you have to pay for your car if you want it fixed.”

It feels like vehicles are being tampered with to generate extra charges, as if the service fee itself is not enough. I am very dissatisfied and will not be returning🚮
