*** service, stay away from Eastvaal motors

Good day

I write this email to you full of disgust about the service I've received from your dealership, this is not a Hyundai problem but a direct problem from Eastvaal motors or your dealership specific.

My H1 bus was towed to your dealership and it arrived on the 7th of June, i was told since the workshop had other cars booked in for service they will attend to it on Thursday. I waited and received and sms that my car was going to the washbay and when i called Jackie she told me that they were still busy on the vehicle and might get it back on the 16th of June (Note: it was a holiday). She called or i called to tell me that they will wait for parts and i asked her the total amount and she laughed and said she told me and she didnt (Calls are also recorded on my side and can give them to you), she then put blame on me for not telling her which company was handling the warranty on the bus. God she even laughed and made me sound like an idiot when i told her that i told her the name of the warranty on Friday.

The 15th of June i called again to check what time more or less i can fetch my vehicle and that is when she informed me that she has orded parts that will come from overseas and there are problems at the border so the parts will arrive in South Africa on the 26th of June and after fitting i will then get the vehicle before end of the month.

Just so you know i use the bus to transport school kids and since the bus has been there ive been renting other vehicles at R1500 per week and that excludes other trips i get on weekends, today i had to book another bus and paid them R9500 to take my guests to durban while my bus is standing still there.

I know under Imprerial motors Hyundai/Kia has the biggest distribution centres in South africa and didnt make sense why they would not have a pulley or tensioner in their distribution centres

My experience with Eastvaal motors has left a bad taste with the Hyundai brand, worse i even asked for a Loan car and you also failed to deliver that, i made one simple call to your distribution centre and the part will be there tomorrow. Can she explain which part she has ordered? I will also escalate this to the management of Hyundai and someone must pay for the revenue lost.

Good morning Mr Makamole

Thank you for giving me the time to look into your complaint.
I have been advised that the unfortunate delay in completing the repair to your vehicle was due to a delay in receiving the required part/s from Hyundai SA.
Martin, the service manager, also advised that the repair was completed yesterday, Thursday, and that the vehicle is awaiting collection, which I believe will be done on Monday.
Once again I would like to extend our most sincere apologies on behalf of our CEO, the Branch Dealer Principal and his team.

Stay safe, keep vigilant and be kind.

You can take the apology and shove it, still no excuse for the **** service you offered me and YOUR DP said 'What is a few complains when we push 30 cars in a month'

I can tell you now Covid is busy killing the wrong people.
