After sales is not up to standard

I bought a 2016 Land cruiser from Eastvaal Toyota in Potch and after receiving the licence papers i took it in to my local licencing office to get my number plate and licence disc . After spending all day at the offices they told me that the vehicle road worthy has expired . I contacted the sales person who told me i am at fault because road worthy is only valid for some time . How is this my fault as i received the paperwork late from them ? I took it in for road worthy again and it failed because of lights which was fitted to the car as i bought it from Toyota Eastvaal. This is really unacceptable that i have to sit and sort out all these issues on a car which i payed half a million for . This issue needs to be sorted out by the dealership as this is the way i bought the car from them . Then after my wife phoned the sales lady she tells my wife that i need to remove the lights ! This is not my issue i bought a un road worthy car from them and they need to sort all these problems not me . How did they put the car through the "test" when they sold it to me because i did not add any additional light to the car ?
