Kindly note your TFG account was terminated off debt review on 21.04.2017 due to the account only receiving one payment of R150 throughout the debt review process.
The account was since handed over to our offices for the collection of the remaining balance by 25.04.2017 of which the account received its first payment by 13.10.2017. The account unfortunately is running on interest of which cannot be exempted from the account. Our offices confirm the balance as it currently stands is due to a build up of interest of the account not receiving the required payments in and outside of debt review.
While the account is administered with our offices, it is done so in line with Annexure B of the Debt Collectors Act, under Expenses and Fees (Regulation 11)
The account is no longer administered with TFG directly, as we were instructed to administer the account on their behalf. Please note, this means that all interest and charges were placed on hold on their side in order for our offices to run the same on our side. Once the account settles in our space, only our offices supply the paid up letter and confirm closure of the account.
We will instruct an agent to get in touch with you to further explain and address any other concerns you might have.
Best Regards
