REQUEST FOR PAID UP LETTER FROM EASTON-BERRY INCORPORATED ID: ***

During January 2017 I app**** for re-financing on my existing bond. My application was declined because of an unpaid account that reflected on my credit profile. It was identified as my wife LN Pietersen with ID Nr. ********** 190087 Foschini account that was handed over to Easton-Berry Incorporated for collection.

BACKGROUND

In September 2014, I resigned from my employer, voluntary withdrew from being under Debt Review and used that money to settle all my debt. Amongs these accounts was my wife's Foschini account that was handed over to Easton-Berry for collection at that stage.

On 20 February 2015, I requested for a settlement balance from Easton-Berry Incorporated to settle this Foschini account. a Settlement amount was send to me for the amount of R 2800,00 (Two Thousand Eight Hundred). On 21 February 2015 I deposited the amount of R 2800,00 into an ABSA account. The settlement letter with the account number in which I must deposited the money was provided by Suegendrie from Easton-Berry, Durban office. When I approach Suegendrie in January 2017 for a paid up letter I was asked to contact someone called Phillamon at their Johannesburg office. As from than I was send from post to pillar without any one willing to assist me. Out of desparation I approached UD-DEBTHELP with whom I was under Debt Review to assist since they were the one who was responsible to clear my name after all because i paid them to do it. Tanya at UD-DEBTHELP tried to assist by convincing them that the account was indeed settled the day after they sent me the settlement amount. In the meantime the account was handed over for collection again to a different debt collector that is unknown to me. Easton-Berry bluntly refuses to issue a paid up letter although there is proof that the Account was indeed settled on 21 February 2015.

I therefore humbly appeal to Hellopeter to intervene as all my options to get a paid up letter from Easton-Berry Incorporated has been exhausted.

Thanking you in advance.

Gabriel Pietersen

Kindly see Telephone numbers for Easton-Berry Incorporated:

********** 222 Suegendrie

********** 555 Philamon

041- ********** Tanya ***ie from UD-DEBT HELP who tried to assist me in getting paid-up letter
