Paid up letter takes forever
I was behind on my Mr Price account and it was sold to collection company above,on the 20th of August 2018 I paid the account in full,I phoned on the 22/08/2018 and the said the funds was received but the paid up letter will take 7-14 days I don't understand i paid why must i wait so long for the paid up letter ,all other debtors send my paid up letters immediately why must a person wait so long and I still need to clean my name on trans union and now there will be a 7-14 day delay to clear my name,I mean an email just takes a few seconds.

Kindly note we confirm the settlement you have done on 20.08.2018 on the Mr Price account is receipted and reflects on our system, however as you were advised prior to settling that this might take up to 7-14 working days before the paid up letter can be issued.
Today is 23.08.2018 and we kindly advise that once the payment is recorded on our clients system as well, that we will proceed to issue your letter within the stipulated time frames.
