I don’t owe Truworths anything
I have been paying my account in store at Birch acres Truworths, and now I get an email from Eston berry Attorneys telling me I have an outstanding of 973, which I paid R283 which was the balance remaining. I have receipts show there is not outstanding balance, please clear my name and this account must be closed

Please note the account has been handed over to our office for debt recovery on behalf of Truworths.
We advise the account is administered as per the Debt Collectors Act 114 of 1998 hence subjected to fees.
In light of the above-mentioned Act, we advise store balances are null and void in respect of handover.
Further note as per the original credit agreement with the Credit Provider, you are liable for the account balance plus legal costs.
We confirm a detailed email has been directed to you with details of your account and confirm matter herein is resolved.
