False claims

Got a call yesterday to say my Vodacom account was handed over for collections as the account was in arrears for over 3 months. When I asked on which number, the operator couldn't give me the Vodacom number that was handed over or any other details about the account. Now comes the fun part... When I told the operator that I only have been with Vodacom for not even a month, the operator basically started stuttering and mumbled that it will be escalated to management and ended the call. I contacted Vodacom and they had no knowledge of my account that was handed over and that my account is up to date. So please stop making up false calls and trying to make one believe that accounts are in arrears.
