Debt Collectors Abuse

I have been abused by this company since 2017 and I thought it was over I was lying to my self.

On the 4th of October 2017 I requested a settlement amount 0n *** which was send to me with amount 882.85. I called one of their agents before making payment to make sure that included every cent I owed them. Payment was made on the 5th of October 2017 and on the 12th of the same year paid letter was sent to me. On the 15th of November my bank account was debited and I call them to understand what was going on. The agent told me it was not supposed to have happen I can reverse the amount as it will take longer if they reversed it which I did.

After a period of two years I received a call from DMC5 about the account it thought settled in 2017. I then called all credit bureau found really I been blacklisted all this time. I communicated with easton-berry-inc about this matter and to surprise I was told because of the reversal the paid up letter was invalid. What makes me angry is that if there was any outstanding money they were supposed to debit in October or communicated to me.

In their response they still insist that I must pay even after one of their agent Dwayne emailed to someone called Chantel to rectify this because on their C3 system the are notes that they give me 20% off which I did not request or know of until now.

I hope this will be resolved amicably before I escalate this to Rob Berry and Doug Murray with flood of emails.
