12 Jul 2021, 16:51 DEBT CONSUMER HELP KEEPING YOU IN THE GROUND I posted a review about this company a while back and to date i have had no response or any relief from the constant calls. In 2016 i was under debt review with Consumer debt. They as your debt counselors are and were supposed to do the arrangements with the people money is owed to IE: date payment will be deducted and date payment will be made to the relevant company. How is it that when i receive my statement in March 2020 last payment was in April 2020 which was fine. Then came the next statement for a deduction in May 2020 for R90 odd and when queried they had acknowledged it is incorrect and cancelled the debit order. How on earth can they then want to come a month later and say it was a mistake and I actually still owe almost 6 freaking K. When inquiring about this i had come across the fact that i was being charged interest on the 25th of the month already whereas i only got debited on the 27th of every month and they had only allocated the required payments by the latest the 9th of the following month. Now how the hell am I responsible for this amount where they were supposed to have made the company aware and made the required arrangements as the debt Councillors for the specific date. Now i have emailed the required departments and yet tha was over a week ago as i am sick of the consent calls day and night as well as weekends. I refuse to pay this amount outstanding as this is not my negligence but theirs. It is as if they do it on purpose knowing you cannot get out of the hole you are in. In this economically trying times how is one supposed to survive look after your baby as well as household if these people keep you constantly in the ground. It is pathetic really. As previous;y mentioned, I refuse to pay this outstanding amount and do reach out for some help as due to their incompetence I am stilled flagged as under debt review and require this to be written off as well as a clearance certificate to be provided
