ECM - an absolute ***-show.

Waited close to 4 months for a wiring harness for my vehicle that was shot during an attempted hijacking... No communication, no sorry sir, they couldnt even give an indication of when it would arrive..

Moving on, wiring harness arrives... Oh no, there is something wrong with the gearbox (bear in mind the vehicle was shot once, affecting only wiring harness and air filter housing).... No option but to replace gearbox... Ok, so the gearbox was replaced already in August 2022... No maar lekker....

Anyway, vehicle is now still sitting at ECM a week after starting on the gearbox and all they can tell me is "we are struggling to programme the gearbox and we need Ford to help"... Seriously chaps, you have programmed 1000's of gearboxes, I now because between my brother and I have been through 4 of them between the two of us in the Ranger!

Never again a Ford or ECM...
