Poor Service

EAST COAST PANEL AND PAINT, A Company that comes highly recommended in the past. My Exposure the service dreadful. My vehicle was in for a small front bumper repair, which was repaired in a week. When the vehicle was picked up and on investigation at home, the grill which that was to be replaced was same damaged one, the head lamp that had broken brackets was not replaced, the grill below the number plate was just placed and not clipped on, and the dust cover under the vehicle was just placed with no clips put on, etc After a call to the Workshop and to the Insurance Company the car was taken in and promised to be complete in a day and returned. It was not to be it took another week. The reason given that the Owner/Manager of East Coast Panel and Paint was away in Cape Town and he was the only person who may capture Items onto the Insurance Portal to request authorisation. He was only due back in 4 days that’s when all the necessary arrangements will be made. It took a whole lot of phone calls to East Coast Panel and paint and to the OUTsurance to get the Vehicle sorted. Sad to say it goes show that the Owner/Manager of EAST COAST PANEL AND PAINT have no trust in his employees. Thus, this poor service and communication. Once again, I say whichever the Panel and Paint Company the Insurance Company chooses, please do a latest background check. OUTsurance was advised accordingly.
