Eagliner need to take responsibility for the unprofessional bus driver

To whom this may concern.

On the 27th January 2020 at approximately 16.20 one of your buses swiped my car door.

I was at the Durban Central Bus Station today collecting a box I had transported long distance. After collecting it I met my wife with the vehicle at the fork of the entrance to the bus terminal and Jelf Taylor Crescent. I then quickly placed the box in the boot and my wife moved the vehicle to the front on the side of the road on Jelf Taylor Crescent, to make way for the Eagle Liner bus and other vehicles. I then proceeded to get into the vehicle through the right rear passenger door. In the process of doing so the Eagle Liner bus swiped the door and nearly crushed my foot,but still injured it in the process. My wife then hooted to alert the driver as we could hear the sound of metal screeching and it did not seem as though the driver was aware of the accident or stopping. My wife and I got out of the vehicle to check the extent of the damage and exchange details with the driver accordingly. The driver did not acknowledge me or my wife or exchange any details with us. Instead,he exchanged words with a security guard from the station in their native tongue. After several failed attempts to speak with the driver we proceeded to take photo's of the damage.

I feel that the driver was very disrespectful in firstly not acknowledging me or my wife. Secondly he did not enquire if I was okay,never mind the damage to the vehicle and thirdly did not exchange any details for this to be rectified.

We have reported the accident at the police station and this is the AR number ‐ AR78/01/2020

I would appreciate a response on my email as I do not believe that all Eagle Liner staff are as disrespectful as this driver was. Also to Eagleliner staff Isaac and Ntombikayise,, broker Charmaine and Keneiloe,. You are just as pathethic and unprofessional as your bus driver that drove into my car.
