Driver doesn't want to take responsibility

I was traveling from Gauteng to Cape Town in April with Eagle liner bus then we had an incident during the night where bus keys got stuck inside the engine pipes then the driver asked to use my keys as of course I was sitting in front, well he broke my keys and fine he promised to pay for them. Long story short he blocked me, even today my room doesn't have a key, it cost only R200 and yes I cannot afford it I'm just a student trying to make ends meet. David Baloyi was the driver.
