Ford Kuga- false advertising and **** service!

I recently purchased a brand new Ford Kuga because we were looking for an economical "mommy" car, that would be safe and reliable considering I was 37 weeks pregnant and expecting our first child.

A friend and I did extensive research on a number of vehicles on the market and found that the Kuga seemed to be best value for money and worked out more economical on petrol than the other vehicles.
Well that was at least what they were saying in the brochures and advertising but in reality it seems that this couldn't be further from the truth!
All the brochures and selling points stated that the Kuga would use 7 liters per 100 kms, which looked amazing!

Once I took delivery of my new vehicle I found that the consumption was actually 15litres per 100kms! RIDICULOUS and more than double what was sold to me!
When I contacted Ford to complain they said that I need to take the car on a long open road trip in order for everything to equalize and that the consumption would then improve drastically. Bare in mind, I now had a new born baby, so I really wasn't sure when I was going to have the opportunity to do this!

We then decided to go away for a weekend so that we could sort out my fuel consumption as I couldn't handle how my brand new car was guzzling petrol!
The consumption improved on the open road to a whopping 12 liters per 100km!
(Hope you can pick up on the hint of sarcasm)

In short, I contacted Ford again and was told I need to book my car in for the software to be upgraded as they sold me the vehicle with the outdated software which was affecting the consumption.
Since then my consumption in town is still sitting at 12.5 liters to 100km!
I have tried numerous times to contact someone at Ford Eagle- they either don't answer their phones or after an eternity of waiting on the line you need to leave a message only for NO ONE to get back to you!

It's also funny how I had a telemarketer contacting me to rate my purchase experience and expectations of the car....I gave them some ratings as low as 1 and 2 out of 10! And was told that someone would contact me in order to discuss these and try and resolve these issues....apparently Ford don't care about customer service and the clients experience, as to this day I have had no one contacting me!

I am sick and tired of this **** service and being **** to!!!!
I believe that all their brochures and selling information is false advertising and others need to know so that they do not get taken for a very expensive ride!
