RAW DEAL FROM EAE MOTORS VEREENIGING

- On the 29 October 2020 I bought a car KIA SPORTAGE at EAE Motors Vereeniging financed by MFC. - It was given to me the same day at 16h55. - On my way home the ENGINE LIGHT came on. I then immediately called the salesman Willie ***) at 17h07 notifying him about it. He said I must come to the workshop tomorrow 30 October 2020. - On the 30 October 2020 I brought the car to EAE MOTORS WORKSHOP.The receptionists Nicolette wrote everything on a piece of paper which had their logo on it and also gave me a copy. They promised to attend to my complaint. I was told to go back with the car. - On the 13 November 2020 they called to tell me to bring in the car for repairs on the 16 November 2020. - On the 16 November 2020 I brought it for repairs. - On the 17 November 2020 they called me to come collect it. I noticed that the ENGINE LIGHT was still on. The guy by the name IBRAHIM whom I was told is the owner of the garage tried to erase the error in my presence using a laptop, but it was for time being because as I left, the same light came on approximately 07 km away from their workshop and by that time they were already closed and could not get hold of them. - On the 18 November 2020 I called them to report about what happened the previous day. Nicolette told me that Ibrahim said I must take it to BOSCH SERVICE in Lenasia (South of Johannesburg) and to speak to Ibrahim there. - On the 19 November 2020 I drove to BOSCH SERVICE and met with Ibrahim. They too tried to erase the error, but as soon as I left, the ENGINE LIGHT came on again. - On the 20 November 2020 I called Ibrahim (Bosch service) informing that the light came on again as soon as I left his workshop. - He promised to check a suitable date to can book in my car for thorough check and repairs. - On the 30 November 2020 I called to make a follow up and was told that they will get back to me as soon as the space is available. - On the 03 December 2020 Ibrahim (Bosch service) called telling me to bring the car on the 07 December 2020 for thorough check and repair. - On the 07 December 2020 I drove to Bosch service as per appointment. Approximately 100 yards away from Bosch service, the engine broke down. I called Ibrahim (Bosch service) who came and witnessed it. - I then called AA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TOWING SERVICE using Ibrahim's landline telephone to come tow the car to EAE MOTORS in Vereeniging. - I had to pay a difference of R740.00 for towing. - Upon arrival at EAE MOTORS I was met with hostilities from Ibrahim and Ahmed whom I have been told they are the owners. They did not want to speak to me nor allow me to live the car with them. They accused me of having been reckless in driving the car disregarding the complaint I have been having since I bought the car on the 29 October 2020. - I had to hire another tow truck to an amount of R2000 to take my car to Soweto where I stay. - I have not even paid my first installment which is supposed to go off on the 15 December 2020 but the car is broken and just standing at home.

- I am writing to you out of frustration hoping you would intervene and help me get my car fixed or either get my refund.

- I bought this car to have a piece of mind, however it has brought me more frustrations and miseries. I do not even have a car to take me to and from work and had to rely on other people. This has put a strain on me and has also inconvenienced me big time.

- I have read about a similar complaint here on Hellopeter about the very garage EAE MOTORS.
