EAE MOTORS
Based on recent customer reviews, EAE Motors receives sharply divided feedback. Customers consistently praise individual sales staff such as Raven, Gavin, and Kopano for friendly, helpful, and prompt telephone and in branch service, with some buyers reporting smooth purchases and trouble free vehicles months later. However, a recurring and serious theme involves post sale disputes, where buyers describe undisclosed accident history, mechanical faults appearing shortly after purchase, batteries not holding charge, and the dealership allegedly refusing to honour warranty obligations or assist once payment is finalised.

I bought a car with EAE Motors Vereeniging sales man was Gary, on the day I test drove the vehicle I was first told that I must put a deposit first to show that I want to buy the vehicle, I told Gary that is against the law, I will not do that, He then spoke to his manager, they then allowed me to test drive the vehicle, when I started the vehicle, it couldn't start because of the battery, Gary told me its because, it has been standing for long, they jump started the vehicle after a test drive I picked up issues on the vehicle ( Master switch faulty, Clutch pedal noisy, Gear lever loose , Battery not holding Charge) Gary sales man advised that on all the vehicles they change battery and do service when the vehicle is sold, also the workshop manager advised that the PDI is not yet done on the vehicle so if they are faults picked up on the vehicle on PDI, they will sort all of them when I buy the vehicle. I gave deposit of R30000 then Gary advised he will start with PDI and fix all the issues, he did not give me any feedback, I had to call at all times, he was pushing me to pay for the vehicle advising me that if the money is not paid, they will not do the vehicle quickly. I then paid R110000 and paid the rest when picking up the vehicle on the 25th of April, on the day I picked up the vehicle, I was told everything was fixed, again I told him , this battery is not right, he then confirmed and promised me that the battery was changed, When I got home after parking the vehicle the vehicle don't start because of the battery, the window master switch is not working, the drivers door is not locking with the remote. When I call Gary, he then gave me an after sale contact number, the Lady told me they cant help me with the faults because it was a cash deal, This is not correct because as per Consumer act, the selling dealer by law must give a 6 months warranty on the vehicle and fix all the issues picked up within the 6 months. I am now have to jump start the vehicle all the time. I want all this problems fixed on the car if not I will take this further until all this dealer fix this vehicle.

They sold me a car that was in an accident and said it was accident free, 6 months later its giving me problem and VW shows that the cause of the fault its from accident. Warranty doesn't cover it and EAE motors is also not assisting me with the problem I inherited from them.
