Bad product, terrible service

Purchased a Dyson vacuum cleaner on 4 April 2023. It has stopped charging after two and a half weeks. They are refusing a refund or replacement. Will collect and try and fix it. Apparently it’s out of the 14 day period. Why would I want a product that stops working after two and a half weeks?
