Extremely disappointing experience from Durban Parking Solutions

Extremely disappointing experience.

We arrived at the airport to collect our vehicle, which had been booked with Durban Parking Solutions, only to find that it was not there as arranged. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, there was no response, leaving us stranded with no information on the whereabouts of our car. We ultimately waited over two hours for the vehicle to be returned, which was extremely stressful.

The only explanation eventually provided by the owner via WhatsApp was that it was Eid and that returning our vehicle had “slipped his mind.” While I am respectful of the Eid period and understand that staff may have been unavailable, this cannot be used as an excuse to leave a client stranded without any communication or contingency plan in place.

In the end, a competitor, Durban Parking Services, stepped in and assisted by locating and collecting our vehicle on our behalf — something that Durban Parking Solutions should have managed themselves.

When the vehicle was eventually returned, it had not been washed, despite this forming part of the advertised service.

The overall experience was stressful, poorly managed, and completely lacking in communication and accountability. Unfortunately, I would not use or recommend this service again.
