Durasec Installations - Bad worse worst..... Durasec

Durasec Installations was appointed to replace my garage. My garage door was a manually operated door, Durasec took the liberty of replacing my old garage door with a new garage door that is meant for a motorized application, which I do not have a motor for. The new door was installed in two days after missing the scheduled date. Once the door was fully installed, off goes Durasec. This garage door does not lock let alone have handles on the outside to open and close the door, the top slat has to be pushed closed and if not will leave an open gap on the top of the garage. It took Durasec two weeks to collect the old door and that was with a fight to have it collected. Handles for the door was ordered, only because I asked and wanted to know how are we to operate the door without any....... To add to it all, my car cant fit in the garage because the new door now closes into the garage, leaving the rear bumper hanging out, my car now parks outside because I have a useless garage door which is taking almost a month to resolve, its been this way since installation, no handles or locks or alterations. It was a fail from the start, wrong door for the application, and this is from a reputable installer that should know to at least add handles for the operating of the door. The security of my family is compromised, my vehicle is exposed to theft, damage and the manager had the nerve to tell me to in the meantime keep the factory plastic on and in-tact and to please only open the door from the very bottom where you need to wedge your fingers in to get a grip. Would I recommend Durasec Installations to anyone I know or ask....a very hard NO!!! Durasec Installations "might" do/have done other jobs well, but why chance? Durasec Installations is further more a registered ADT dealer... which I am a client of as well, funny how their installation on my property works against my home security system, especially the beam in the garage.
