Disappointing Duram Wall and Ceiling Matt

Bought Duram Wall and Ceiling paint after being assured by the sales assistant that it is washable as is printed on the label. Painted two walls. After two days I tested it and took a damp towel and some of the paint came off. Duram rep contacted me and said to wait 7 days which would be ideal for the paint to dry, but on another complaint from hellopeter the lady waited two months and the paint also washed off. The rep said he painted his walls 3 years ago and he still washes it and it does not come off and that they also compared Duram to Plascon and it performed better. He also claimed that Duram had a reaction with the previous matt paint that was on my walls. He gave different reasons for why the paint is coming off to which I responded so basically it is my fault that it is coming off to which he responded that is not what he is saying, but that is exactly what it sounded like to me. My advice, do not buy Duram wall and ceiling if you want to wash your walls. Extremely disappointed as I asked the sales rep of the store I bought the paint from if this paint is washable before I bought it. The Duram rep said he would come out, but I do not see the point as I told him there are other people also complaining on hellopeter about the same issue to which he responded it is a nonsense story.
