I am severely disappointed with the dress I received from Dupe Factorie. It was their "Effortless Elegance Tencel Dress & Oversized Shirt Jacket", which cost R1500. The product description specifically claimed the dress was: "Crafted from luxurious Tencel fabric, renowned for its buttery softness and eco-conscious breathability" The above quotation is taken off of their website underneath the items description. The Reality is this is False Advertising: Received Material, Label States: 86% Modal and 14% Polyester. The primary reason for this purchase was to obtain genuine Tencel, a natural fiber, and avoid polyester. Modal and polyester are NOT tencel. The inclusion of 14% Polyester and the replacement of Tencel with Modal is an unacceptable material deception. Poor Quality & Unwearability: Scratchy Fabric: The material is shockingly scratchy and uncomfortable on the skin—the exact opposite of "buttery softness." Missing Lining: The dress lacks any lining, which is expected for a R1500 garment and would have mitigated the scratchiness. Wearability: Due to the discomfort, the dress cannot be worn without undergarments, making it impractical and substandard. Construction: The stitching is visibly poor in multiple areas, confirming the low quality. Conclusion: This item is fundamentally different from what was advertised in terms of material and fails drastically on quality and wearability standards for its high price. I am seeking a full refund for this misleading product. Buyer beware, the claims of Tencel and softness are false.
