Retrenched and Can't Cancel my subscription

I have been retrenched and of all my affiliations (e.g accounts, loans, memberships), DVC is currently the most horrible to deal with. Not only have they taken weeks to start responding but they have no regard for the fact that I will be unemployed and will not have funds to continue the ****py Membership. Why would I secure a holiday club fees over feeding my family.

The only solution according to Cecilia Van der Walt the Retention officer , in order to cancel my subscription is not to pay fees and then they'll report to ITC and get blacklisted. Talk about kick me while I am down.

All my other debtors and are assisting me with pleasure during this difficult time. But a silly Luxury Club wants to blacklist me... pathetic. Never in my life I thought a holiday club can make your life so miserable. Regret joining.

I understand the liabilty with the Loan Account and want to deal with FNB directly but I don't want to be a Member of DreamVacations any longer. I have been given the option to put the loan on hold for 3 months but I will still have to pay the member subscription!!! What part of "I wont have money is not clear"

Any advise from others. I'll have to do some homework on this one. Didn't expect this from a Holiday Club!!
