Misled by sales agent NO cancellation available.

When signing up with the DVC in October 2018 we were told, by the sales agent, that if at any time we could not make the payments dream vacation would simply sell our shares to someone else, no fuss needed. However when trying to cancel the membership, due to unexpected financial constraints, we were told that we would have to pay up the total cost of the membership in full. If we could not make the monthly payments how are we expected to pay the total amount in full and forfeit all the money that has been paid so far. No effort has been made to assist us with this matter. We have not used up any of our points and have paid every month not missing a single payment. Therefore by paying this off it would be an utter waste of money. Furthermore DVC never has bookings available when we require them. If the sales agent had been honest and upfront then this would have not happened. I highly recommend that people stay away from Dream Vacations and do not join.
