DREAM VACATION MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

I wrote to Dream Vacation Club notifying them of my intention to cancel my membership with them. I did not receive a response until I made the call to find out what is happening. I spoke to a lady called Bridget Markhams whom I explained to her the difficulties that I am currently facing and that I cant afford to keep the time shares anymore. She then advised me to send a email directly to her which I did. After two weeks still no response and I called her and she told me she is still working on my case. After numerous calls and emails I was called by the HOD Maria McFarlane who by the way was so rude , didn't even give me a chance to explain my situation to her. Maris McFarlane threatened me legal action and that she will list me with the credit bureaus if I should fail to make payments, she then slammed the phone in my ear. After few minutes received an email from her instructing Bridget to assist me with refinance option which were almost the the same with my initial installment. I rep**** and informed them that I still cannot afford those and want to cancel my membership.

I do not understand how it can be a problem when I request to cancel this membership especially because I do not want to be reimbursed for the contributions made thus far. They are not bothered by my financial situation they only care about payments to them. I cannot prioritize a holiday club over the well being of my family. I checked my credit report they have listed me, I dont understand how a holiday club can blacklist a person. I hope this will help others not to make the same mistake that I have made by becoming members of dream vacation club.
