Cannot get rid of Dream Vacation membership

I am trying to cancel my club membership at dreamvacs, i am even giving up my points to them. I have given one months notice as i have been with them a long time and i know that I do not have a life time contract with them and only require a one month cancellation period. They want me to give a 3 month cancellation which i think would only cost me more money. I have already sent them a email to state that I have relinquished my points to them in lieu of any outstanding amounts. Hope you can help with this Godfrey Carstens
