Cancellation of membership
Dream Vacation Club have a VERY AGGRESSIVE marketing strategy. They just do not take no for an answer. People who have experience of their marketing sessions will know what I'm talking about. A 5 days cooling period exists, but once you have signed, it is very difficult, almost impossible to cancel membership. I have to supply points certificates which they allegedly sent to me one year and two months AFTER signing. I never received them. I have to fill in indemnity forms now to have replacement points certificates issued at my cost. I have to pay R500 ***ed by me) which I offered to pay off over a period of ten months. Offer not accepted. I have 1500 paid-up points to my credit.
I was informed by Denisha Govender of DVC that membership will be cancelled for non payment. Is this an invitation to not pay and then get blacklisted like another complainant?
I just want to get rid of Dream Vacation Club - I paid a lot of money through my own stupidity for something which did not benefit me at all.
