Spontaneous price hike after
R2177 to replace two waterpipes in my kitchen after initially quoting me R1285. And this I only found out AFTER the job was done. I would not recommend Drain Surgeon to anyone under any circumstances whatsoever.

11 Mar 2025, 13:20Hi Miloh, you were quoted our call out rate as well as the first hours labour. Your job required additional material therefore the deviation in the final price. Only when once on site is one able to determine if material is necessary and the extent of the material needed. It could be as little as a R 20 tap washer or R5 000 tap mixer etc. Please let me know if you require a call to discuss this principle.

11 Mar 2025, 13:34I have someone who listened in on the conversation we had over the phone WHO WILL VERIFY that, when I asked what THE TOTAL FOR EVERYTHING INCLUDED is going to be, you specifically quoted R1285. If that was only the call out fee, then YOU were misleading. O specifically asked for the pipe, which we confirmed over the phone which pipe it was, to be replaced, after which I specifically asked you if the quote given included everything: and you said YES. I demand you send someone out ASAP to come and get your things back and refund me.

Lets please try and apply some basic logical thought - how could any company without being on site determine a final price when their are thousands of different variables are at play?
