R20 Wax Ring charged at R140

I tried emailing Drain Surgeon both locally (Polokwane) and Nationally, with no response, which is why I am posting here now.

Drain Surgeon came out to my residence, fast and efficient service which I am happy about, call out fee and labor charged at R595 excl Vat which I am happy to pay as well.

But material costs of R140 for a R20 wax seal ring is a 600% increase in price which I feel might be a bit much? Is it normal company policy? R140 is not much, but to put it in perspective you would not feel well if someone charges you R140 for a 2liter coke.

It is done and paid and I am happy with the job done and the guy who did the job for me, but I don’t like being bamboozled, especially during these trying times where we are all struggling.
