Poor Workmanship
After receiving a quotation for R3 270.66 on June 15th I accepted and gave this service provider the go ahead to fix my plumbing leakage.<br> <br> They then came on June 17th to fix it. However, 3 days later the pipe had burst again. Now they claim that they have to replace the entire pipe at an ADDITIONAL cost of R5 435.52<br> <br> Now this, in my view, is a blatant rip-off. This is particularly since the pipe-burst occurred in the same area they worked on.

The Drain Surgeon Head Office have investigated the above incident and would like to report as follows:
The moment you identified the next leak underground which occurred a further 2 meters from where we repaired, we immediately dispatched a team as well as a manager to fix at no additional charge to yourself.
Please understand that unfortunately due to the nature of water under pressure it is going to find the next weakest section of the pipe, we were led to believe that you were made to understand from our manager that the underground pipe you currently have is in poor condition and far to week to handle the current pressure.
Your current problem is unfortunately going to persist unless the remaining pipe gets replaced. Please contact our office I am sure that we can arrange something regarding the new quote based on the past work you have given us.
Our apologize, Head Office was made to understand that you fully understood to the above situation.
