"HOW CAN WE MAKE YOU SMILE?"...YOU CANNOT

2 years ago we bought a new submersible septic tank pump from the drain surgeon (R20k) and sent our then-broken pump in for repairs with the same company. 2 months later we received the "repaired and tested pump". The drain surgeon assured us the repaired pump is in working condition. So we stored it safely because we had a brand new pump already doing the job

Two years later this week our pump burned out beyond repair, called the drain surgeon to replace the pump with the one we had repaired. After all was done, the repaired pump kept tripping and again we had an overflowing septic tank. The drain surgeon advised we need to replace our "repaired" pump, which hasn't worked since it was supposedly repaired. I logged a call early the next morning for them to assist with a solution, but nothing was done. At 3 pm, I followed up that day, these people referred me to the JHB Manager (JM). His excuse was "We were looking for a place to repair your pump the whole day,". Firstly the pump was supposed to be beyond repairs, secondly: if it could be repaired, it would take longer than a day to complete, considering the time it takes to acquire parts, resources, etc.

What we need is a solution to an environmental catastrophe. A whole day was wasted with no results, and sewage continues to flow down a storm drain... this could have been avoided if we had a working pump as promised.
