Feel done in

Firstly, when we had a water crisis in our home, we had to wait for almost 6 hours until somebody finally arrived just to put a stop on a tap fixture with the promise of returning the next day to replace the broken part. He left with a part to, apparently, try and find a replacement. However two or three daya later we were informed that that apecific part with that type of thread could not be obtained and the entire pipe would have to be replaced. Then we waited for about a week, before we received an quote and that only after phoning them several times. Unfortunately we paid the quoted amount before deciding to cancel the job, because we didn't want to have to replace an entire slab of granite because of the breaking needed to get to the pipe. Since, another plumber was able to replace the part (by just looking at a photot for info) in less than 10 minutes - no problem obtaining it either. He also charged us much less for a job completed than the +-R1000 call out fee which, even for a weekend, is exhorbitant. Don't take a job, if too busy, be honest about waiting times and inform customers about the call out fee, so they can make an informed decision.
