You need to be more transparent with your pricing, and tell customers upfront that they are in for R1780 before you’ve even stepped into their home. I have never experienced this kind of ******ion, it is absolutely disgraceful. I completely understand that it is common practise to charge a ‘call out fee’ of between R350 and R600 and then charge for labour on top of this. But to expect me to pay R1780 for a plumber to unblock a drain, which took no more than 10 minutes is shocking. I don’t know how you can justify. I am certainly going to warn people off using you.

13 Nov 2023, 13:48Hi Mandy, Head Office has investigate the above incident with the respective franchisee, it is general practice for most plumbing companies to charge a call out fee and a minimum of one hours labour but in your particular case the job was completed in a extremely short period, I see that the franchisee has app**** a 50% discount.
