Worst service ever

Do not rent a car here complaint: ordered car not provided after 1 week I ordered and payed 21 000 ZAR for a T6 VW automatic from Dubai and when I arrived at Cape Town international airport I waited 2 hours for the vehicle to be sourced.i left after dark with the equivalent of a quantum manual 14 seateras there was no be available anywhere. my wife was very unhappy driving a vehicle synonmous with taxis down the n2 after dark. I received an email confirming the availability of the T6 VW automatic and returned to the airport to be told that the car is not available and the manager said that the e mail was false and that the e mail should never have been sent . I drove from Jeffreys bay to swop out the vehicle. I am sitting with this huge vehicle which I cannot drive in the parkings of malls etc and cannot park in my single garage as it is too long I cannot believe the service of thriftys as this must be the perfect case study for worst case scenario service ever.The ability to provide what one orders is clearly unachievable for this branch yet one pays a premium in time and effort wasted. the effect of this rental on my holiday has been far reaching for me as I had to postpone my trip up the east coast to await the ordered vehicle and had to cut short my trip to swop out the vehicle and still be dissapointed. neveragain.facebook.instagram.tripadvisor.twitter and hellopeter review to to follow
